This book has an interesting twist at the end I had not anticipated. If you like spy/assassin/international intrigue you will like this book.

This is book 2 in the Kiko Ochisan series. I read it first and liked it enough to buy the first book in the series. A mystery, suspense with Japanese culture, what's not to like?

I have read most of this author's work. I enjoyed reading this one, as well as the others.

Read this yesterday while snowed in. Pretty good military combat science fiction. Mixed in some references to Templars. Overall a good read.

Good book. The topic saddens me, child trafficking. I liked how the author wove together all the threads in the story.

Read this last night on my Kindle. A quick read, I enjoyed it. I liked the characters and the story line/mystery was interesting.

When I first started reading this book I loved it, then it sort of lost me at the end.

This is my favorite book by Sharon Kay Penman. I have read it at least four times over the years. It is my go to book when I am ready to settle in for a long read on a cold night. I highly recommend this author.

Just finished this book. First time to read this author's work. I love dogs, have three of my own. I enjoyed how the author worked dog training into the story line.

I read this book when it first came out. I liked it enough to buy the second one in the series. I think I will reread it. If I remember correctly it starts with the protagonist sitting in a restaurant waiting on a blind date. Said date tried to kill her. I was reading it at a restaurant, I almost went home instead of staying to eat.
