pickALONE IN THE DARK its gritty and dark, nonstop action and drama, fast-paced with amazing twist. Karen Rose is the queen of thrillers.

Love Karen Rose books - they are very addictive, sometimes with a bit much of the soppy stuff but I can‘t give them up!!

pickAnother great book from Karen Rose. Her books are a little long, but worth it. This one grab me from the start. It involves human trafficking, child porn, drugs and murder. Hang on to your seat.

Given the subject matter I think the title of this one fits. Love the crime stories in these books, not so fond of the fall in love after 30 seconds bits. But I keep reading them!!

My mother gave this to me for Christmas two years ago. I haven't read it yet, because it's a sequel and I still have to get the first book.

Der zweite Teil der Faith Corcoran Reihe. Den ersten Teil Dornenmädchen fand ich total genial.

so-soI finished 'Alone in the Dark' today. All in all it was a good read, but there are just some aspects of the story that don't quite add up in my opinion. That being said it was still an enjoyable read for me - like most Karen Rose books I've read so far.
Nothing new to report: still reading 'Alone in the Dark' and still really liking it!
Back to my book - at least until the football match starts 😉 I still really like the story, I'm just a slow reader at the moment because I just don't have the time 😩
The story is kind of predictable so far - if you've read a book by Karen Rose, you know how the story generally evolves. But I like that, because sometimes I just want to know what to expect from a book. It's still an enjoyable read!
so-soWhen I worked in Biblocafe (RIP) I became hooked on several series. Karen Rose's books were one of them. I can predict what will happen, almost down to the page number. But sometimes that's just what I want🤓
