I was enjoying following Scarpetta and her comrades. Now, it feels like I‘m getting too much detail about processing evidence and less about the actual crime. Patricia repeated herself a LOT in this one and I can honestly say I have NO IDEA when the main perp from other books, came into play. He all of a sudden was just included, leaving me quite confused. Hopefully the series gets more interesting again!

This one was a bit of a let down, too much talking not enough action

Book 17 in the series and it actually wasn't a total disaster 😂 I much preferred it to the last book and now I'm not so sure whether to bail on the series. The Scarpetta obsession was toned down a bit in this one👍🏻Although I do wish some of these murderers were successful when they target her 🤣

I don't know why I'm doing it to myself 🤣 Book 17 in the Kay Scarpetta series and the final chance for Cornwell to win me back before I bail on the series. Only reading it because it's a planned read for October 🙃

TrishB Think I bailed at 14 or 15! 4y
Liatrek I have the first book in the series but haven‘t read it yet. Is it worth starting? (edited) 4y
suzie.reads @TrishB this one doesn't seem so bad but only just started it 🤣 4y
suzie.reads @Liatrek I loved it at first so it is worth reading. First ten were good quality I just think Cornwell ran out of ideas. 4y

Pickpick

Book 17. I have to confess that I take some time off from time to time so I don't get tiresome of Scarpetta's books but I love to know what's happening in her life! "Scarpetta finds her life is on the line as she becomes embroiled in a bizarre conspiracy involving a missing wealthy woman who has a secret connection with Scarpetta's gay niece Lucy. " Entertaining level: ????? #livro #Yume #book #2015Sha #DogsOfLitsy

I've had this book for about 3 years and just finished reading. It just took so long to get going that I kept giving up. I probably tried reading it about 5 or 6 times before I got through it. It's not bad just really slow.
