Easily my favorite read of the year so far.
Davies strings her words together so beautifully. Her stories are equal parts funny and a punch to the gut.
We don't find out the meaning of the title until the end, and when we do, wow. It's powerful.
pickThis is a memoir of essays about motherhood. It‘s hard to predict if someone would enjoy this. I think you either connect with it or you don‘t. I certainly did. 💙

pickEvery essay. Hilarious and true and heartbreaking and pure.
I‘m trying hard to read this because I think it‘s well written and thought provoking but am having trouble focusing because one of my 15 year old son‘s friends committed suicide yesterday. I keep hoping something can distract me from this terrible tragedy.
Me too. Give me a window seat, some coffee, and some cookies. All that is missing is the book to read and a cat.
Between the pub date getting bumped up for this beauty and me falling slightly behind my reading schedule I need to bust through this memoir that officially came out yesterday.
