What a ride this one was! This is my first book by this author, and it did not disappoint! This one had me questioning every single character. This was pretty brilliant. I‘ll be checking out what else this author has.

I just couldn‘t finish this. I wanted to love it but I can‘t get past the format. Maybe I should try the audio (sometimes if I don‘t like a “bandwagon” book in print, I go to audio and it works better for me). I‘m over halfway through with this and I‘m totally uninvested in the characters and story. 🤷🏼‍♀️ For now it‘s a bail but I‘ll probably try it again on audio.

I needed a new audio and grabbed this on a whim, didn‘t even read the synopsis which is not something I do.
It turned out to be a coming of age type story and I loved this so much!! Now, first let me say that I wouldn‘t have enjoyed this as a print version. Why? Because it has a lot of Spanish in it and since I don‘t read/speak Spanish it wouldn‘t have worked.
The narrator for this one was wonderful, authentic accent and beautiful Spanish.

I grabbed this one on a whim, had no clue what it was about or if I even would be interested. Best. Decision. Ever. I LOVE this audio! Since I don‘t speak Spanish, and there is so much of it in this book, being able to listen to it has been amazing. Fantastic story and narrator. I can‘t wait to finish it.

Am I the only one that isn‘t totally loving the interview type format of this book? 😒

Y‘all, I can‘t even right now. My 4 year old unboxed the gift that I had for my match in the funko pop and book swap. (He was kind enough to replace it with the toy he got from a kids meal last night 🙄) He opened the pop and then hid it in his room. Plus side I get to keep this Deadpool which is my fave! Down side I have to buy another (different) pop for my match. Kids are total a-holes. 😂😂

This was so good! I can‘t remember which Litten posted about it, but thank you! It kind of reminded me of Harry Potter in some ways but it‘s definitely not the same. I‘ve got the sequel requested and I‘m anxious to start it!

I just can‘t. I‘m on page 77 and not even slightly interested in finishing this. The story is just dragging on and I don‘t care for the way it‘s written. Oh well, moving on. 😝
