It was okay... I liked the written letters a lot, but the whole book is not amazing it's just okay.
Ps: this was my #bookspin for April... I am way behind on my #bookspin and #doublespin, so I'm trying to catch up now .

I‘m in a mood where I can‘t read anything but romance. It‘s hard to shake so I just lean in. (Better than a reading slump!)

Anyway, I end up doing a lot of one-clicking to mixed success. This was not a fail but not a win for me. I read it in a day. I liked the plot but I thought the writing was lazy. She‘s never had ANY friends? She‘s really never had hot chocolate once in 22 years? He didn‘t lose any of his stuff in that fire? I could go on.

karin_in_wonderland I also hate these inconsistancies in all romance novels, like the writer just can't be bothered to keep facts straight. I try to ignore them or else I would never read romance. 6y
Lea @karin_in_wonderland all romance authors do this? 6y
karin_in_wonderland @lea I find that most of the authors do, maybe it is just with those I read, but of course a few excepts to the rule exist. 6y

I'm not even mad at myself for reading this instead of studying - so worth it. I love Whitney G's writing.
