I became so obsessed with this book! It had everything I love & I was dying to know what happened with each chapter. It‘s part of a series & while you don‘t need to read the others first, it‘d help with background of characters & past cases plus, it kinda ties loose ends with the past books so I‘d recommend it even if I didn‘t do it. Absolutely love the way it was written. I can‘t wait to read the series from the beginning & more from this author!

I absolutely loved this book! It was hard to put down. Karen Rose is a top notch writer and definitely does not disappoint here. I loved the way the story kept you on the edge of your seat all the way to the end and the unexpected surprises in it with every page turn. I highly recommend this book. Great read for lovers of romantic suspense, thrillers and mystery.

Another good one from Karen Rose. My hormones must be quacky, because I cried thru the last 2 chapters and epilogue.

I read this book as part of a book challenge. Although I used to read suspense years ago this is not something I typically enjoy anymore. Having said that, I really did like this book! Karen Rose is an extremely talented author! I won't put off reading suspense in the future but I probably won't choose another suspense novel to soon, my heart just can't take it LOL 😂

Today is my 39th birthday. I am still not feeling great so I plan to lay around, start this book, eat ice cream cake, and be lazy.

Well I wasn‘t going to start a new book today but I can‘t seem to stop myself. I am choosing this one as book #20 for this year so far & I am proud to announce that I have passed my goal of books read last year. Last year I only read a total of 19 books and this year I want to double that. So far so good. With this book I‘m remaining skeptical I don‘t like “romantic suspense” books so if it‘s too damsel in distress needs saving & sex Ill skip it🙄

Like reading an episode of 24 😁 Non stop action, twists, turns, killings, beatings, bad people..... you get the picture. With additional instant love....
If you already like Rose you‘ll love this. If you haven‘t ready any - read them in order as they‘re interlinked!
Managed to finish in January, but too tired for monthly stats now, sleep calling.
