This is another author I've seen often and I'm glad this is my first read from them. The book has 3 stories, some informative notes from the author, and some holiday carols (which I couldn't read because I cant read music sheets!). Review Story 1: A miracle happens at la Posada after "Maria and Jose" get snowed in. It's a very interesting story for me since I'm able to compare it to the posadas that happen in Mexico. How traditions and interpretations can change from one location to the next! #tmskellington #wintergames #holidayread

#WinterWonderland Day 23: This book compiles 3 of DePaola‘s holiday favourites & 5 Christmas songs with musical notes & DePaola‘s trademark illustrations. There is #MarysBoyChild here as Las Posadas features how families walk in procession as they relive Joseph & Mary‘s search for an inn (a posada).
