How can you not love Pete and Pickles. If you like the warm happy feelings and the love story of UP, then you must read this book. Not only is the story endearing and heartwarming, the illustrations are amazing. Breathed has this way of making his illustrations breath, and live, both in his world and in others as if it was an everyday occurrence instead of the magic it is.

No reading tonight as we are getting Andy stuff done. Ughhhh. So boo took me to dinner. His choice of restaurants. But while I was powdering my nose he ordered Fried pickles. He HATES the things. I love them. But I never get them. The only thing since he doesn't eat them the dogs are getting the left overs.

pickThis book is FA BU LOUS! So many lessons can be gleaned from it from animals in captivity to art, I need this story in my classroom. After reading its heart-pounding highs and lows, I read the story‘s origin and fell in love all over again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
