Mehso-so

I‘m a rubbish reader of series. Triple that for cosy mysteries.

There‘s a lot to like about this, not least the setting (a needlecraft shop in Minnesota) & the mystery itself, which was a tad different.

But 3 is enough for me. More potential perpetrators would‘ve been good. And possibly the timing is off - it‘s old enough to feel dated (in technologies/attitudes) but not old enough to be charming.

So just ok. But I may yet come back for book 4

I got a diamond painting kit for Christmas and I‘ve been plugging away at it while I listen to books. It‘s fun times; like a very small, plastic mosaic! I‘ll definitely do another, as long as I can find a non-cutesy one.

Monica Ferris‘s third Needlecraft Mystery makes me want to finally finish my current Interminable Cross Stitch Project so I can start another of those, too. This series is great. I‘m excited there are so many of them.

Lesanne That‘s so pretty! 3y

Pickpick

Third in the "A Needlecraft mystery" series. In December, right before Christmas, Besty finds herself involved with the mystery of a cryptic tapestry. On top of trying to make sense of the tapestry, someone is trying to kill her. All this and financial woes to keep the shop on track. #winterwonderland @TrishB @Cinfhen

Samplergal I read several of these years ago. Entertaining read! 5y
writerlibrarian @Samplergal it's a good, classic cozy mystery series. The secondary characters became more and more interesting as the series went on. 5y
Samplergal @writerlibrarian are you also a stitcher? 5y
writerlibrarian @Samplergal yes I am. I haven't in a few months. I love to stitch big pieces. 5y
Samplergal @writerlibrarian Very cool. I can‘t see well any longer or I would be right there with you. 5y
