Pretty decent. The story was really good but The documentary stuff kinda got long. But it was a good twist and turn book. The ending surprised me for sure. Was not at all what I was expecting when I picked up the book.

Wrapped this one up tonight. I liked it. I wasn't blown away but it was good.
Sitting by this old fireplace. We are at my partner's brothers house and I brought a book. 🤷🏽♀️
Wow, just wow. Great author, intriguing plot and layout of chapters. Grace Sebold is serving a life sentence for a murder in St Lucia she swears she didn't commit. Sidney Ryan has made 2 documentaries on true crime that proved the innocence of the suspect. After 10 years of communication with Grace, she decides to uncover the truth, and starts real time filming. Is Grace innocent?
I definitely really enjoyed this book and the way it was written. All the references to Serial and Making a Murderer were very interesting for me because I loved both of them and the style was easy to get hooked into. Definitely an entertaining and suspenseful book with twists!
This is a really good book! If you like the phycological who dunnits that are easy to read, not to complicated and can read through the night, read this book
If you love mysteries, this one will blow your snuggly winter socks right off. I couldn‘t put it down. Charlie Donlea had me with the luxury Sugar Beach Resort setting in St. Lucia and the hike up the Gros Piton He takes us on a ricocheting trek from the volcanic mountain to the television network conference rooms with many stops in between. The story is gripping and brilliant. https://www.bluestockingreviews.com/blog/don-t-believe-it
I loved this book! As a lover of true crime, I really enjoyed the idea of a mystery novel centered around a true crime documentary. This book was a well written, quick read with a plot that made me want to keep reading. This book was definitely a pick for me!
This was a great read! Fun to read because it‘s partially told through a documentary that‘s happening, and through Sidney‘s real life investigations. I did not see the end coming at all.
If you liked Serial and Making A Murder you will enjoy this book. Sydney Ryan is producing her next case to get the innocent released from prison. She gets multiple letters from a medical student in St. Lucia who is in prison for killing her boyfriend.
This was a little slow at the beginning but then it rolled with twists. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend to anyone who likes suspense.
