Unplugging & getting my kaiju fanatic out of the house is no small achievement. But back in May, when I read Unplugged to my students, they were engaged. I have a couple of kiddos who like to go through picture books and visit details in the illustrations. This book did not disappoint!

This is a wonderful story that was touched by a master illustrator. Blip has always been plugged in and they love it. Until the day of the black out and Blip actually has to go outside and learns of the wonders that match her computer, if not surpass it. This is a great allegory for kids with too much screen time.

Daycare/Preschool is hosting a #Scholastic #bookfair this week. The littles picked out books to take home. Bought a second Unplugged for a 5YO birthday party gift for this Saturday. #raisingreaders #boysreadtoo

Smangela This is not on topic of your post lol but the 14th is the ONLY weekend we have free in April and I just started planting the idea of a Columbus trip to my husband... either he and my 16 month old can come OR they can have a boys day.. my fingers are crossed that weekend stays free and I can go... and I might be able to kidnap @Callemarie too 6y
