Yesterday when my life was feeling out of control I went to the library. So in the first of my #librarylove posts I thought I‘d show you a picture of my local branch. The main library is downtown but I‘m lucky enough to also have 2 branches nearby, this one is the one I go to the most, the Francis branch. It‘s second in circulation to the Main Branch and even though it‘s busy, I always feel calm when I‘m there.
1. Typically two, but in 2018 it has been on average six. (Edited: I read that wrong. I read that many. I buy in lots. Some months none, some 15.)
2. No new books. I have enough in my TBR pile to sustain me for a few years and my ideals love the idea of borrowing from the library even though I usually buy.

pickThis book is 💯 💯 💯! A delightfully illustrated picture book about a girls love of the library. It‘s implied that her parents are separated and Library day is a day spent with dad. It‘s a super subtle implication, but will be reassuring to kids whose parents are divorced, but won‘t even register to kids whose parents are together.
