#TBRtemptation post 2! Todd was sent to a therapeutic community for autism at 11. Now in his 50s, he's a joyous man who compulsively rereads the encyclopedia. Things are disrupted with a new menacing staffer, a disruptive brain-injured roommate, and a new one-eyed resident with romantic intentions. Undone, he attempts to escape and find his younger brother. Told from the 1st person pov of an artistic. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

Mehso-so

Not a big fan of this one. Just not a topic I enjoy, I hated all the people that took advantage of the main character which I'm sure is how you're suppose to feel. I think it was well written and got the point across but just not for me!

Mehso-so

Ultimately, my feeling is "meh." It was a fast read, but the main character was hard to connect with (which is sort of the point, I know). I will say that the last 50 pages were more interesting than the rest, so I'm at least glad I stuck with it until the end.

Pickpick

Incredibly insightful and sensitive story of an adult man with autism. You have to hear it - audible narration was perfect.
