DS Maeve Kerrigan reminds me of myself.

1. I was a fast runner and always came in first place at summer camp at my neighborhood playground.

2. I am grateful for my husband who does the dishes, the wash and the food shopping. He spoils me.

Casey‘s debut psychological thriller. I would have to say that she has been talented right from the start of her writing career! Thought I knew who the killer was but a surprise twist right at the end took care of that thought. I have read all her books at this point but I am anxiously awaiting another Kerrigan book coming out in April. If you haven‘t read Casey yet, what are you waiting for? She does not disappoint! #TheMissing #JaneCasey

Jane Casey has become one of my favourite authors recently and this excellent standalone totally reinforces it. Loved this book, although took me a few chapters to get into it. Left me not wanting to put it down. Some dark abuse material in here but the whole book was superbly written and plenty of suspense and tension through the book right up to the final page. Totally recommended.
First book finished for #24B4Monday. I‘m at 5 hrs 50 mins.

Listening to the audiobook of this. The lady reading it is very posh so most characters sound like the queen! Persevering though as the story isn‘t too bad. #audiobook #poshnarrator
