Characters were boring, I hate how even their problems got solved so perfectly. I want unperfection.

This was overall way too clean book for me, I love cute books and happy stories but then I want them to be fun. This wasn't even that.

Gabe is a commitment phobe who agrees to keep an eye on his friends little sister. And then spends half the book second guessing his feelings for her now that she is a hot grown woman. He also happens to be a Phoenix.

Misty has been in love with him since childhood, and despite not seeing him for over a decade is immediately in love with him again.

Neither character did anything for me, and Misty‘s boss was a huge ass!

My TBR for Sept & Oct. I've already knocked out Coraline and I only have like less than an hour left of Hooked On A Phoenix. That leaves 5 books for alittle over a month & a half. I think it will be doable. 🤞🤞🤞
