The Alchemaster's Apprentice: A Novel | Walter Moers
8 posts | 21 read | 8 to read
The first three books set in Zamonia. The mythical land created by Walter Moers, whose work has been compared to J.K. Rowling, Douglas Adams, and Shel Silverstein have achieved raucous critical acclaim and created hundreds of thousands of die-hard fans here and all over the world. Now Moers returns with a fourth "relentlessly whimsical" fantasy (Library Journal).

Geniale romanzo dell'autore fantasy tedesco Walter Moers.

Day 13: #pageturner #auldlangreads I LOVED this book! I could not put it down. I could see this as a Tim Burton film.

#OctoberPutASpellOnYou Day 23: Despite the Alche #master‘s ruthlessness, Moers is able to communicate darkness with so much lighthearted humor laced with tragedy, biting wit and wordplay edged with pain and bitterness: the mixture is a perfect alchemical brew indeed. At its core, the novel deals with eternal love in its purest form, & how it can be transformed into something putrid, demented, & utterly mad. My Review - https://wp.me/pDlzr-4Ql
