Here are my three favorite cookbooks- that many meals have been popular with vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores. Monastery Soups is one of my all time favorites ever- but not vegan, just easy to modify when it‘s needed.

Lauram I love the Liddon cookbook! My vegetarian book club really liked the African peanut stew. 4y
Deblovestoread Soup is my favorite food group. I need to find 4y
KVanRead It really feels like soup season, doesn‘t it? I have a couple of Robin Robertson cookbooks I really like but haven‘t used in a while- thanks for the reminder. 4y
LeahBergen That Monastery Soup one looks good. I could live on soup! 4y
Chrissyreadit @KVanRead 😄 I‘m a vegan cookbook junkie. 4y

@readordierachel besides Oh She Glows, these are my favorites. But some of the recipes need to be adjusted in Monastery Soup and Winter Harvest. I do have two full shelves of vegan cookbooks, but I do not love Tempe and some recipes take more time. Robin Roberts book does not have pictures but it is excellent.

ravenlee I love Robin Robertson‘s books. (edited) 5y
KathyWheeler I‘m not vegan, but I do like good vegan food and have several cookbooks. I‘ll have to try this 1000 recipes one. (edited) 5y
Itchyfeetreader I can not cook from a recipe book without pics ! Makes me super self conscious!! 5y

Chrissyreadit @Itchyfeetreader honestly, the recipes are so good!!! And I grew up cooking from handwritten recipes so it does not bother me. 5y
Chrissyreadit @KathyWheeler when I do prepare food it is to feed people who are not vegan in a way they feel excited! There have been several recipes that are hits. Oh She Glows is still my biggest people pleaser cookbook though. 5y
Chrissyreadit @ravenlee I only have this one but it is so good! 5y
hermyknee Oh She Glows has great recipes! 5y
Chrissyreadit @hermyknee I‘m pretty sure it is my favorite cookbook. It‘s getting tattered. 5y
readordierachel Oooh, wonderful! I'm requesting some of these from the library ASAP. Thanks so much for the recs! 🤗 5y
KathyWheeler @Chrissyreadit I‘ll have to check that one out too. 5y
Chrissyreadit @readordierachel @KathyWheeler let me know what recipes you try. There are many I have not yet. Once we love something it tends to become a staple. 5y
Chrissyreadit @readordierachel the Winter Harvest is not written as vegan but I have easily “veganized” the recipes I used with yummy success. It has several easy recipes I use for holidays consistently. 5y
readordierachel Good to know! And will do 👍🏼 I'm hoping to find some recipes that can be staples in my house too. 5y

@Bronte_Chintz I think the tagged book is great for multiple recipes and diversity- but my current favorites are more specific- especially the Asian Vegan Kitchen. I love soup Books too! @DebinHawaii often posts great vegan books and recipes too. I bought Love Soup based on her posts but sadly have not prepared any yet. I just bought The Veggie Queen and How Not To Die cookbooks and hope to explore some of those recipes. #veganlitsy #litsyvegans

Bronte_Chintz I shall have a nosey! The Asian vegan kitchen sounds great too! 6y
Chrissyreadit @Blaire I love this one too 5y
