I‘m still on Book 5. This series, and especially this book, is completely wacko!!! I‘m really enjoying it, though. I‘m very glad that Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy are back. By the way, that‘s Arseface in the bag! 😄

In this volume, Steve Dillon created some amazing (and absolutely hilarious) expressions on the faces of Jesse and Cassidy. It‘s as highly valuable to study the pictures as it is to read the dialogue.

Swe_Eva I read the first one and then got sidetracked, need the holidays to show up soon so I can binge! 😂 5y
SqueakyChu @Swe_Eva I can‘t believe I got sucked into reading this whole series! It‘s so unlike the things I usually like to read, although I‘m a great fan of graphic novels. I adore the characters of Custer and Cassidy! 5y
Swe_Eva @SqueakyChu Oh, I dont know, I always think you like unique stories and this one qualifies in that sense, right?! 5y
SqueakyChu @Swe_Eva You‘re right about me liking “unique”, and Preacher certainly qualifies!😃 5y

I didn‘t care much for Book Four, but now that Cassidy is back again in Book Five, I‘m happy! 😊

This is by far the best in the series. Can't wait to get to book 6, it hopefully will be a great ending to this series.

Wish I could participate in #24in48 but my husband and I have plans all day tomorrow and my beloved Pats play Sunday. As I won't have a ton of time to focus, I thought comics were the way to go. Maybe I will be able to sneak part of a book on Sunday. Good luck to everybody doing the readathon.

katedensen How is the new Archie? I've been meaning to read them but haven't gotten around to it yet. 7y
UwannaPublishme I'm going to try to read a lot on Saturday, so I can peek at the games on Sunday. Have fun!😊👌🏻 7y
Lauren.Archer @katedensen All the new Riverdale series are great. I am deep into each one. 7y
Cortg I hear ya! I have to help build a theater set with my daughter and my son has a swim meet on Saturday. Sunday we are meeting a potential fur-baby to adopt and we will be glued to the TV for the Game... GO PATRIOTS!!! Someday I would love to participate in a read-a-thon but that won't happen for a few more years when my babies are off to college. They keep me on the go! 7y

Back-stories of Tulip and Jesse's dad's Vietnam experience. Plus we get the Quincannon books which helps explain what the hell is going on with the AMC adaptation (though not really). One more volume to go and really no idea how it's all going to end.
