This book has some amazing poetry in and the pictures are beautiful. 💞🥀

This is the first page of The Fireside Book of David Hope 1975 and it's very special to me. I had a secondhand copy of this book as a primary school-aged kid (goodness knows where it came from). I adored it. It got lost along the way but I tracked down another copy a few years ago. It's this book that got me reading, and then writing, poetry. It has a lot to answer for! 😊
