Camping this week and getting caught up on reading. I love this series by Matt Wesolowski. They are small books, 6 in a series that read like a podcast.

I managed to read some excellent reads during November and Changeling is one of them. Already the third Six Stories book, and another story that managed to blow me away completely. A full review will be posted on my blog on the 13th, but I can give away a spoiler: it's absolutely spine-chilling and breathtakingly brilliant!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was just about to sit down and read for a bit when my kindle battery died... So I picked up my copy of Changeling instead even though I have a pile of other books I should probably read first. 🙈😍 #currentlyreading
Wesolowski's book will easily end up on my best of the year list. In the format of a true crime podcast, the latest entry in the Six Stories series, investigates the mysterious disappearance of Alfie Marsden on Christmas Eve 1988. The site of the disappearance is Wentshire Forest Pass, an area that figures prominently in #urbanlegend There were a few scenes that deeply unsettled me & although I had figured out the ending, it was very well done.
I bought this adorable little flowerpot to celebrate Spring, and it looks so cute on top of my bookshelf! I decided to put together a little greyish blue bookstack to show it off. 📚😍 Also, I'm so ready to continue the Six Stories series and read Changeling! I still need to read Hydra first though...
Do you ever read a book & it leaves you dissatisfied, so you immediately read another book with a similar plot hoping to satisfy the initial narrative craving? This was my experience with two books tackling the changelings folklore: CJ Tudor's disappointing sophomore release The Hiding Place & Wesolowski's satisfying The Changeling. Formatted as a true crime podcast (think Sadie) this is the third in the series & although it contains minor 👇
😬😬
I cannot get enough of this series, it is so good! I‘m so sad I‘m on the last one. My library system didn‘t have a copy, and even the inter library loan system couldn‘t help, so I just had to go and buy it on my kindle, because I couldn‘t wait to read it!
I love the #SixStories series. They always manage to completely suck me in. #Changeling was no different. If you are looking for a terrifying mystery with paranormal elements and lots of twists and turns, then you should definitely check this series out!
#booked2019 #relatedtoapodcast - I listened to Book 3 in the Six stories series. Each book is a fictional mystery written in format of a true-crime podcast. Very cleverly done, it draws you in, it is oozing with atmosphere and tension, has complex characters and interesting storylines with a twist! This is a unique experience, especially on audio!! Each books keeps getting better and better! (And they can be read standalone too) #ukauthor
