I just realized I missed drop everything and read day yesterday, but in my defense I think every day should be a DEAR day!

Today is “Read 15 Minutes Each Day“ Day in France. That reminded me of a mural I spotted in... Cahors, I think? last summer. It says “Reading is the most beautiful of routines“. There are 15-minute read-ins happening all over the country.

🌸 I try to read from a book everyday. Whether an audiobook or physical/ebook.

🌹 I‘ve gotten into the routine to read at least a chapter before bed.

🌺 For comfort it would be romance.

My goal this year is to #ReadEveryDay and I signed up for the Modern Mrs. Darcy challenge just to get this habit tracker bookmark. Red is print, blue is audio and most days were split, expert for weekends and on vacation. I finished 6 books in January and that's not awful, with both kids and my husband's birthdays in about 3.5 weeks!!!!

☑️I am going to find time to read EVERY day, no matter it‘s just one chapter. Reading really takes my mind off all the stress and crap IRL.
☑️Achieve my GR target and complete my reading challenge.
