Holly Black doesn't disappoint! I started with Holly with her Cruel Prince series and loved her style of writing. She has a way of describing that makes the reader feel as if they are emerged in the life of the fae! This book had an added bonus of bringing in characters and storylines from The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King! I would highly recommend this read if you're looking for a present day twist, to fae based fantasy😍

I love Holly Black and I love the world of Faerie, but I got lost a lot. In the third book, Ironside, I was under the impression that Val would be there too, but she wasn't. I was confused for a majority of Valiant and the drug never came up again after it. But I loved the Lament of Lutie-loo, the new story. It was fabulous and tied together this story to the Folk of the Air!
