The format of this book is so cool; each section is written by a differnt author focused from the POV different historical woman but each of the women appear in the previous sections as secondary characters. Plus it‘s all chronological so it flows as one novel, with the feel of an anthology.
Also, the French Revolution is oddly relevant right now. #historicalfiction #womenfiction #frenchrevolution
Day 30: For fun, I am going to post one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join the fun if you want. #bookstoread #tbrpile @StaceyKondla
Holy cow - what a book! What an effort by these authors! If you like historical fiction and awesome female characters, this ABSOLUTELY is the book for you. It's on the longer side (500+) and I would recommend taking your time with it.

My current read. I don‘t remember much of this time in history for school. It definitely has intrigued me and I‘m not quite halfway, but I think this will be a 3-3.5 read.
Just finished this fantastic book. So good, couldn‘t put it down. Kudos to each & all, & to @WmMorrowBooks for giving it the attention it deserves. Great job of highlighting relevance to now. Loved learning about these heroines. #ribbonsofscarlet 🙌🏻 #ReadThis #HistFic #women
The book is extremely well written – but, it just did not grab me. With each chapter changing to a different character I could not find that connection with any one of them that I need to really enjoy a book. I am also not overly interested in this period of history. I was hoping the book would generate an interest within me but it did not.
It's no surprise I'm loving RIBBONS OF SCARLET given the authors; appreciating that much of the story & themes speak to current issues. Even opening paragraphs of 1st chapter make me think abt our responses to border crisis, black lives matter, & people we other.
Biggest cat ever.
