I think this was a fairly “clean read”. Pretty suspenseful. But Vivian drove me nuts. The decisions she made or didn‘t make when red flags started to appear in her life frustrated me.

MellieAntoinette The ending was frustrating to. A book I still think about! 3mo

This one sure leaves a lot that can be debated, doesn‘t it? Of course this is fiction but I don‘t want to think that Einstein was as terrible as he is painted here.

This was on my TBR list right after I read “Just Mercy”. Just got around to it now.
Truly incredible!! This will probably be one of my all time favorite books.

Suet624 I agree. This was an amazing story. 5mo
MallenNC Great book. It was hard to read but his positivity after such injustice was inspiring. 5mo

Total guilty pleasure! I must have needed a Lula fix. I just have to check in every once in a while.
I was glad grandma Mazur made an appearance at the end. I was beginning to think maybe I had missed something in the last year or so.

Beautifully said from the cover:
“If Julie Kibler‘s novel Calling Me Home were a young woman, her grandmother would be To Kill a Mockingbird, her sister would be The Help, and her cousin would be The Notebook. But even with such iconic relatives, Calling Me Home stands on her own.” -Wiley Cash, author of A Land More Kind Than Home
