This is a decent story, but in need of some serious editing. It is overly long, repetitive, and with way too many characters. The author clearly did a lot of research and seemed determined to use every bit of it in this novel. And that‘s not even considering the lack of proof reading! Spelling errors, questionable grammar and usage broke my concentration constantly. I‘ll put a full review on LibraryThing, as this was #earlyreviewer book.

Having a “me” day today. Stopped for #coffeeandbook before going to get my nails done. I probably should have had a chocolate pastry, but the orange scone looks so good 😄

Rosalind, the title character, just had her first taste of chocolate. Now it‘s my turn😂

I realize that I‘m reading an uncorrected proof copy of this book. But the misprints and the apparent lack of editing is distracting me from the content. And “noone” for “no one” is driving me crazy. I‘ve checked several references, and they concur that it‘s incorrect. But it‘s consistently used thus far. The author is Australian. Is it correct usage there?

Time to start this #earlyreviewer book. This is the first one of these that‘s a #chunkster. My expectations are high for this one.
