I'm glad I decided to reread the first seven books in the Chicago Stars series before getting the eighth book to read :) #osrbc #romantsy

YESSSS, one of my all-time favorite SEP books to re-read over and over again. This one will break your heart and then put it back together again in the sweetest possible way. I love it so much! ♥️ #romantsy

I'm really feeling bad for Rachel right now. I had to take a break from the book, and I"m only on page 43.

Tanner It gets better! 7y

Faibka Your kitty in the picture looks adorable 😻😻😻 looking forward to see kitty posts! 7y
BeckyD @Faibka thank you. I've followed several people on here because of their cat pictures. I'll be posting more pictures of her and her kittens. 7y
Mimi28 Welcome to Litsy! Can't wait to see your adorable cats! 7y
BeckyD @Mimi28 thank you. I'll try not to go overboard with the cat pictures. 7y
Mimi28 Oh post away! Most of my posts have my cats in them, lol. They even get suspicious now when I put books by them, lol, they hardly look directly at me anymore when I call their name to try to get them to look in the camera, lol 😻❤ 7y
BeckyD @mimi28 mine won't look at me either. I keep trying to get them to though. 7y
Mimi28 Oh they're just being cats, lol, chances are they won't, lol. Don't worry just take pics anyway 😊they don't have to be perfect, and you can crop them and put frames on them and use stickers to block out a messy background. I do that all the time too 😉 7y
BeckyD I've seen the stickers on other people's posts, but haven't learned how to do that yet. 7y
Mimi28 Ok first you pick the book, then there should be an option at the bottom to add a picture, then take a photo now or choose from your own gallery, once you select the picture there are editing tools at the bottom. You can pick one and play with it, if you don't like it press the x on the lower left, if you like it, press the check mark on the lower right. Then you can tap on another feature, like frames or stickers. You can move the stickers around 7y
BeckyD Thank you. I'll try that next time. 7y
Mimi28 Move the stickers around with your fingers and also change the size of or delete the stickers, a box should pop up at the top of the picture with a trash can while you are moving the sticker around. 7y
Mimi28 Also I just take the pic with my camera and then choose the option to just use one from my phone gallery so I won't have to keep re-taking the picture to edit it. Sorry I know that's a lot. I hope it helps 👍😊 7y
BeckyD That's fine. Thanks for your help. I don't know when I would have figured out how to add them. 7y

Another great book from SEP. I adored Rachel's sass and her strength and the way she didn't quibble with bending her pride to accept charity. I enjoyed Gabe's journey out of a dark place and his chemistry with Rachel. I also liked that to most of the town Rachel was a villain and the way it twisted perspectives & relationships with Gabe's family. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

EloisaJames This is one of my absolute favorites--the opening is especially heart-wrenching. 7y
Deebee @EloisaJames Oh yes, the opening was tough on the emotions and I really felt for Gabe. It was the darkest place I've seen one of SEP's characters go so far, but she did it so very well. I think delving into those emotions really gave you a connection with Gabe. Despite both their situations though it wasn't a depression-fest thanks to Rachel's attitude to hardship. I enjoyed Ethan & Kristy's side romance a lot too! 7y
