Growing up in the anorexic/bulimic 70s/80s & moving into the “heroin chic” 80s/90s, it‘s a miracle I only hated my body a normal amount. I never dieted & that meant I could focus anxiety elsewhere—like not having Bertinelli‘s gorgeous hair. Also, I finished this plate of nachos, housework & this book.

I'm not sure where my sudden interest in Valerie Bertinelli's life came from but I through my enjoyed reading this book and I can't wait to continue through Finding It, and on to Enough Already. #08-2022

I liked this memoir of Valerie Bertinelli's life and struggles with weight. I actually listened to the audiobook, narrated by the author. If you grew up in the 70's/80's and know those celebrities and tv shows, it's walk down memory lane. She is honest about her weight gain and if you have ever fought with the lbs, you will really enjoy her candor. A few f-bombs though, when she is fighting with her ex...
