Tonight I went to a protest about the immigration ban. We had wonderful speakers and a really great crowd by the time we marched. I love knowing that there are so many good people in my city who want to work hard to make all feel loved and welcome. My stepdaughter made my sign for me. 💕 I really believe that all are welcome here. #resist

This is my #overthis TBR stack I've been accumulating over the last few weeks really but added to this weekend. Yes I'm planning to read all these and so much more (more on hold at the library and others waiting for my paycheck!). Yes I'm planning on not reading many (if any) straight white male authors. Since books are how I learn things I can't ask others, I'm gonna learn the shit out of what I can do to stand in solidarity ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

Hooked_on_books What a wonderful stack! Sounds like a really good reading plan. 8y

Just attended a panel put on by folks involved in this book on arts/culture work as part of struggles for social change. Haven't read any of it yet, but it sounds like it has some amazing content, and it is beautifully designed!
