Lucas goes to Vegas via New Orleans and Los Angeles. Top notch work, we get to spend time with his new pals from the Marshalls service, Rae and Bob. Spent the morning with my parents, who are moving to their “last” last house in a couple of weeks so I swung by to pick some stuff up. They‘re super downsizing so I‘ve been bringing some stuff home here and there. But I really need a bigger house. 🤣

Wow, gory and suspenseful. This was a fun read. Killing, investigators and nonstop action. #BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

A cannibal and a home invasion gang lead Lucas, Bob, and Rae on a merry chase across Louisiana, California, and Nevada. Classic Sandford - plenty of near misses, swearing, action, and witty banter. Admittedly, not my favorite, but that's partially due to something that happens fairly early on that bugged me for the rest of the novel and partly due to the migraine that has been getting worse over the last few days. 😫 3 1/2 stars

The thing I love most about Sandford is he‘s funny. Bob and Rae are really growing on me.

Two books (have about 10 pages left to go in Neon Prey), beer, and a beautiful day. Glorious.

Loved it. Another wonderful Lucas Davenport novel. The US Rangers are searching for a criminal they call 'the cannibal' . Eventually the story moves to Los Angeles and then to Vegas. It is a fast moving drama. Highly recommend.

Another great Lucas Davenport novel!!! He and fellow Marshals, Bob and Rae, are chasing a cannibal. He leads them on a grand chase. 💜💜💜

Just brilliant! But then I am incredibly bias when it comes to this series. Book 29 in the series and I've enjoyed every single one of them 😁

Lucas is back and he's as cool and humorous as ever. A very good story with all the home comforts of a Prey book 😍

A go-to author for me going all the way back to the 80s! I'm originally from Minnesota, so I always enjoy the local references. I used to live in an apartment building down the (real) street from Davenport's (fictional) fancy house.

Eta....oops, I fact checked myself. I guess it was the 90s. Eyes of Prey published in 1991.

It's out today and I'm 4th in line at the library. I'm going to try and be good and wait but I just want to buy it right now!!

These are all the main series I'm currently reading. I am upto date with 7.

Got the latest Jack Reacher and Virgil Flowers books to read. Both currently reserved at the library.

Going to focus on finishing the Harry Bosch series, getting stuck in with the Kay Scarpetta series and starting the Ty Hauck series as I've enjoyed Andrew Gross' other books.

Waiting for John Sandford's, Neon Prey as well. Out in April! 😍
