Happy Earth Day!

My supervisor approved this display on the condition that I wouldn‘t refer to it as CliFi 🤭 (I wasn‘t going to - I was just saying!! 🤣)

I was quite pleased at being able to curate a list of 55 titles for this display. I think the list would have done better if it had been on the catalogue (rather than just in one branch) but there has been a bit of movement.

Happy Earth Day Littens!!!

Today is the 53rd celebration of the largest international secular holiday in existence.

This day has been used to successfully create positive political change! Go humans!

What are you doing to celebrate? This year I‘ve decided to ask my younger students what worries them most and what ideas they have about the environment.

Happy Earth Day! | Alex Appleby

🌳 My church camp in eastern Ky has been my favorite place for years. It‘s a home for many alumni. This is one of my fave pics I‘ve taken (on a pre-digital camera) when I was summer staff in 2000. It‘s on one of our lookouts with my friend/summer staff Barrett.
☀️but only about 50 degrees. At least it‘s not snowing like yesterday!
🌎I love the woods with a slight wind rustling the leaves & birds chirping.
