Ya sci-fi /fantasy set in the dust bowl of the 30s sisters life and death pick the town of Elysium for a game,Sal and Asa the demon meet up with a band of outcast girls and the story takes off! Great world building,cultural references,strong girl power storyline and witches! A fun read.

Today's read!

After a couple of cool rainy days, the sun and warmth have returned. Ripley and I are making a point to enjoy the beautiful weather before the next bout of rainy days moves in. Currently reading the tagged book and enjoying it so far.

Joe at work keeps asking me for new westerns. I don't think this is what he is wanting. But I WANT IT.

In just a very small way it reminds me of Ashlords, but that is mainly the horse. It is original and eyecatching. I just hope in the real print they give it some texture and maybe some embossing. This graphic would loose so much if they just printed it as a glossy cover like War Girls.
