I gave it 50 pages, and I just can not get into it. There wasn‘t enough character building for me before they jumped right into the swing if it all. For such a lengthy book I think I expected more of that. Def just my opinion!

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join the fun if you want.

I‘m not sure how best to review this. Not a traditional vampire story & the claim on the cover is plain false - there‘s tension but not a whole lot of ‘romance.‘ There‘s some minor world building & mentioning of some major prophecy but so little revealed it grinds & frustrates - mainly spent time with a protag who is abused, tormented, then discovers she is some mythical heroine who has fallen for the main vampire, of course.
Although I should be reading a different book, I have always loved this novel. So, I put aside The Bookshop on the Corner and picked up #TheDarkHeroine for another read, while sipping on a Hot Toddy. Merry Christmas Eve! #christmasreads #romance #vampires #reread #mylitnight
Easy and light reading. Quite a few grammatical errors but interesting story line.
Follow up book is also great and when the series continues I believe it would become very popular. Good idea to tie separate stories together. Can't wait to read the third!
#silhouettesoncovers Some of the books I have with silhouettes on the covers.

"Autumn Rose" ist definitv mehr als 'nur' ein zweiter Band. Abigail Gibbs konnte mich mit ihrem Weltenentwurf, tollen Charaktere und einer total fesselnden Handlung überzeugen, so dass ich die Reihe allen Fantasy-Lesern nur ans Herz legen kann.
Just found this book in my house ? I'm the only one who reads in my house so not sure where it came from.
