I checked this book out from the library so many years ago and couldn‘t hang...I just couldn‘t find a place to access the material, even though I had a lot of respect for the Jungian approach.
It was recommended to me again recently and so I tried the audio and that went way better but sometimes I felt full and couldn‘t absorb it all. Will likely listen again.
Here are some of my paraphrased notes.

Graywacke That‘s a great story, especially since Jung is intimidating. (Too intimidating for me) I‘m trying to process the logic in the quote... 5y

Life can be tough. I feel almost as though I am being flippant but it is the best I‘ve got with so few characters. Life can be gorgeous, too, and as I am finishing this book I feel like I‘m reading and not reading well enough, I am grateful for the depth of my feeling and the difficulties. I am a mess and I hope to do my best when I am able. Just like life, this book‘s got it all.

Hard to not think of Jung and therapy while listening to Dr.Blasey Ford,you see both the traumatized person and the depth of her education in psychology.I applaud her bravery.Plus, @Ddzmini wants to see this shelf.

batsy Nice! I've never read Jung and this seems like an interesting place to start. There's a recent bio I think of his wife that also sounds good, about her role in his work. 8y
