pickSecond in the Washington poe series was an enjoyable roller coaster as the grumpy detective finds himself manipulated by a #wrongfullyincarcaratedcharacter (loose interpretation here to get in for #booked2023) celebrity TV chef. With the help of Tilly Bradshaw ,Poe has to now avoid being charged with murder. Definitely will read on in the series.

pickAnother terrific Poe/Bradshaw/Flynn investigation. The series is billed as “Washington Poe” so I was happy to see the full team back together again. Especially Tilly as she is my absolute favorite. This one just reinforced how much I miss eating in restaurants. Just a few more weeks now. #SeriesRead2021

pickWow!!! What a second book in the Washington Poe series! Poe and his, what some would call untimely, witt kept what would be a dark twist on the fluffier side. He had me laughing out loud. I absolutely love Tilly and her ability to make an awkward situation even more awkward. She‘s the best! Poe refuses to back down when the evidence says otherwise. He is unstoppable when he has the genius Tilly by his side. 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨
