Onto book 2 of the Washington Poe & Tilly Bradshaw series. Love love love them
Well this was the best crime book I've read in a while! Didnt have a clue where it was gonna go next and loved every single twist and turn. Onto the next in the series.
Seen so many good things about this author and this series that I just have to jump on the bandwagon :)
Absolutely loved this book! A very creepy ghost story with plenty of twists and turns. Kind of gave me beetlejuice vibes. Now i need to read the first one!
I've reading a lot on kindle books lately and wanted to switch back to paperbacks as my tbr shelves are full! Asked my partner to choose me a book and this is his pick. So far so good, thought it was a crime/thriller buts a ghost story and I'm digging it!
Really enjoyed this one. Tw: suicide! This book takes you on a journey. Won't say too much but it's really interesting.
Love love loved this one! Fans of Lucy Foley will enjoy this. Its better than her books but set in the same way.
This book sounded so good from from blurb on the back but it just wasn't what was advertised! Too much romance and sexual content in it for me. Everything of interest happened in the last 50pages if even that. Not my cup of tea at all.
Picked this one up today, starting it on my break at work. Casually ignoring ignoring 300 others on my tbr pile! #deadtoher
Well! I loved this book! My sister gave me this one to read, she recommended it highly. 2 babies were born prematurely in private hospitals and transfered to the NHS Nicu. But unbeknown to the families, the babies were switched! You will not see where this one ends. Loved it
Such a fascinating story, I loved delving deeper into it. The only annoying part was that this case still remains unsolved and I need to know the answers! This book did try fill in some blanks and I enjoyed it..
I was excited to read this one as it had such a fascinating premise but I found it too unbelievable. I enjoyed most of it but felt I was just too young adult for me.
Haven't been keeping up with tracking on here lately, been swamped with work 😕 but this is my current (almost finished) read! Review to follow along with the other 2 I've read 😄 #playingnice
This mystery has always fascinated me and is still unsolved. I just had to download this book when I seen it! #dyatlovpass
Finally getting to read this one, bought it for my sisters Christmas and she's finished it :)
Not my usual kind of book but a friend recommended it and I must say I enjoyed it. Nice quick read, took a few pages to get into but once you do get into it, you can't stop. You just have to know what's next.
Hello my name is Donna and I'm a bookaholic 😅 i cant even go food shopping to asda without coming home with a book...or several! There's one more but its down stair and I can't be bothered going for it 😂 my bookcase is overflowing as is my kindle! This needs to stop 🙊
Loved this! Full of action and no boring parts, kept guessing till the end. Pretty sure there will have to be a follow on soon.
Is there any better combination...book, chocolate & bed 🥰
Newest book, this one looks brilliant, has some mixed reviews but I'll reserve judgement 😀
Loved this one! Kept my interest the whole way through, a nice twist at the end that I did not expect at all. Couldn't put it down.
Next read...a friend who recently got into reading told me about this one so hopefully it's as good as it sounds :)
Started out with so much promise, the middle was a bit boring and had some of unnecessary filler but the ending made up for it. Not at all how I thought it would go. It was ok.
I enjoyed this book, thought I had it worked out but I didnt stand a chance. The twists and turns kept coming. I look forward to the authors next book!
The plot was good, I enjoyed the mystery and suspense to finding out who what and why but the main character really put me off. She was an arrogant b#$ch to put it politely. Maybe if she was made to be more likeable I'd have enjoyed it more.
Wanted a nice easy read for a change after so many twisty books. I have read this authors other book and enjoyed it so hope this one is just as good.
Current read and I'm having mixed feelings about it. The main character isnt alsxactly very likeable, shes a total arrogant bitch tbh but I'm enjoying the story so gonna power through.
This one was very good. Doesnt spare on the gory details. Shame its book 5 in a series but I'll definitely be reading all the rest! A family is brutally murdered the day after their daughters wedding. The murdered will surprise you..hidden secrets and plenty of twists. Enjoyed it!
Followed closely to the first book in the series and the twists and turns just couldn't be anticipated. I thought I had it worked out but i was wrong because that was too obvious. Cant wait till later in the year for the next installment.
Book 2 in the Tallman's Valley Detectives series. Had to get straight onto it after finishing book one.
Loved this one. Five 3 year olds go missing from a nursery picnic but there are no clues left behind. The plot is great, the story unfolds nicely and I'm going straight on to the next book in the series. This is a 3 part series.
Time for a kindle read now. I've done well getting my physical tbr pile down a bit but i got a new kindle for xmas so I better use it.
Absolutely loved this book! Set during a bird flu pandemic, this book was deemed too unrealistic and wasnt published at the time. Now during the covid-19 pandemic it has been published and it shows how a lockdown should be. Not only that but the crime story included it really good. Highly recommend. If you think our lockdown sucks, read this book and you'll realise how much worse it could actually get!
Ok so I bought this book during the first lockdown way back in March and put off reading it till all this was over but I'm beginning to lose hope we'll ever be allowed back out so I may aswell just read it and see what else is in store.
Well this was a tough haul. Some interesting new serial killers I havent heard of but the editing was terrible. Quite a lot of parts I had to read several times because the sentences just didnt make sense. Poorly edited, dragged on, repeated quite a bit but kept my interest. Maybe I've just had too much serial killers for the time being.
Current read. Short, quick sections on serial killers :)
I really enjoyed this one, some parts were too much, even for me tho with children so beware! I experienced an emotional rollercoaster with this one and had to step away at some parts. Really good tho. If you enjoy Stephen King or the likes then I'd recommend it.
This book grabs you straight from the prologue and you need to know what happens next. I really enjoyed all the twists and turns although I had a feeling I knew who it was but not the whole ending. Really enjoyed it.
