Race day! 10k in the books! I ran faster than I've ever run in a race but didn't quite make my 10min/mile goal. Finished at 1:06:41 which gave me a 10:20min/mile average. Considering I had a pretty rough November dealing with some health lows, I'm proud of this. I didn't walk and a couple of those miles I even managed to run under 10 min so progress! Now bring me a book & some hot coco! I'm not going to move for the rest of the night. 😆
Finished this at the beginning of our road trip. This is the 2nd book I have to read for Reading Rumble in September and I really enjoyed it. A great story about girl growing up in rural Ontario and going on to the 1928 olympics and facing the challenges of the time.

Being on vacation means sleeping in and then walking to your favourite cafe to read while you enjoy your coffee and muffin. 😊

Loved this book about the fictional Aggie Smart, gold medal winner for Canada in the 800m race in the 1928 Olympics. And that ending! Ugly crying in public right now 😭 #PopSugar18 #bookaboutsport
Saw this book at the library. Am enjoying it so far!! Hoping for inspiration and motivation to get back to a consistent running schedule :)
This is a contender for my "book of the year 2016". I loved everything about it. Aganetha Smart is one of the most interesting characters you'll ever meet.
