My wallet was stolen last month and I realized the other day the only thing I hadn‘t canceled was my #librarycard! I mean, what are the odds, but you can‘t be too safe, right?! 😂
I got my new card today (way cuter than my old maroon one) and checked out The Overstory by Richard Powers (trying to read 3 Pulitzer Prize winners this summer).
Also it was my last day of school today so please excuse my wild, dirty, sweaty, joyous appearance. 😜

PaperbackPirate @Velvetfur The worst part was that it happened out of state so I had to fly home without ID. But all they got was about $25 in cash and a couple gift cards because I canceled all of my cc right away. They tried to use my cc and were denied every time. I loved that wallet though and it can‘t be replaced. Doing ok emotionally now because it could have been so much worse. Thank you! 7mo

PaperbackPirate @rwmg They did not try to borrow books and I knew it was unlikely but wanted to err on the side of caution. Maybe they should have though - I‘m sure it would have been an improvement! 😅 7mo
