The end of an era. I finally updated my used and abused #mysapl library card yesterday and got a new number. I‘ve had the last one burned into my brain for the last 12 years. The new designs are really cool too.

marleed I loved the SAPL in my 5 years in San Antonio. I lived less than a mile up the Riverwalk (The Canplant @ the Pearl) from the Central Library and was there all the time, and in the basement- still my favorite spot to thrift books! 2mo

Show us your #librarycard Since @PaperbackPirate had to replace her card after a wallet theft 😟I commented about my Phoenix Bird library card. Tempe is pretty obvious, Phoenix bird for Phoenix,Scottsdale had several to choose from so took the classic cowboy sign one. Glendale has several to choose from of course I‘ll choose a cat!🐈

Phoenix Public Library - Cesar Chavez Library | Laveen, AZ (Library)

My wallet was stolen last month and I realized the other day the only thing I hadn‘t canceled was my #librarycard! I mean, what are the odds, but you can‘t be too safe, right?! 😂
I got my new card today (way cuter than my old maroon one) and checked out The Overstory by Richard Powers (trying to read 3 Pulitzer Prize winners this summer).
Also it was my last day of school today so please excuse my wild, dirty, sweaty, joyous appearance. 😜

PaperbackPirate @Velvetfur The worst part was that it happened out of state so I had to fly home without ID. But all they got was about $25 in cash and a couple gift cards because I canceled all of my cc right away. They tried to use my cc and were denied every time. I loved that wallet though and it can‘t be replaced. Doing ok emotionally now because it could have been so much worse. Thank you! 8mo

Harris County Public Library - Barbara Bush Branch | Spring, TX (Library)

On Sunday, March 19 my digital library card expired so I signed up for another card. This one will be good to use for 3 years. I signed up for my other card in March 2020 during the Covid 19 pandemic and I really liked having the digital library card. My library has a good selection of books to read but for times when I couldn‘t find a book, I ended up finding what I was looking for on Audible or Scribd.
