Kid#2 saw the bookmark, made enquiries, did intensive research online and moved Oxford up the "UK-Bucket-List". I really need to win the lottery.

Headed down the alley toward the Bodleian! Got to hit the gift shop but didn‘t have time for the tour this time…. Oxford has been amazing fun and now we‘re in London. ❤️

Braved storm Dennis yesterday to head out to Oxford to tour the Bodleian Library. The Divinity Hall (recognise it from Harry Potter films??) with its vaulted ceiling was amazing - but above it, on the second floor, the Duke Humfrey Reading room was so special. In use since 1487 - these books are manuscripts are still in use today - stunning!

Mitch @Soubhiville This is just the entrance - you weren't allowed to take photos inside the actual library space ( as its a working library and scholars were at work! ). It was amazing to see people working from books that were 400+ years old! 5y
