Last week I picked up a large portion of my Independent Bookstore Day order! Still waiting on a few more titles but “In the Tall Grass” was sold out in person but the lovely owners still managed to snag me a copy. #SupportLocal

Life‘s been crazy lately with house projects, work, and we finally decided to get new furniture! It‘s the first time in 12 years that me or my husband has actually purchased sitting furniture. We went all out and I can‘t wait for my super fancy reading chair for the library (my back can‘t either 😂). Hope everyone has been well! ❤️
This came the other week but more book mail from a local indie! The Library of the Unwritten and Bridge of Souls are great books. Can‘t wait to see what the others will hold.

Picked up my order from a local bookstore yesterday and treated myself to takeout for dinner. This past week I‘ve started a new diet program and I‘ve been good about it so I splurged on some eggplant parmigiana.

Yesterday was the first time I “visited” the tagged bookstore. It‘s a place I‘ve always wanted go to. Since the pandemic, I‘ve been ordering online with them but the store just opened for curbside pickup (table right inside their store). I offered to pickup so they wouldn‘t waste money on free shipping. The owner was so happy to see me in the flesh. She gave me an arc as a birthday present! Definitely will continue supporting them ❤️
