Also part of today's #bookbuy. This has been on my list for ages. I read "Pure" and loved the setting of historical fiction in Paris so I can't wait to sink my teeth into this one. It's set 200 years earlier than "Pure" and it looks just as good! ??? #Paris #historicalfiction #amreading

My review:

In Paris, Giordano Bruno asks a friend from his university days for help. A few days later the friend is beaten up and before he dies he whispers a cryptic message to Bruno. Bruno must find who the murderer is before the murderer and the people behind the murderer decide he knows too much.

It wasn't as immediately gripping as the previous instalment in the series, but once it got going we had excitement, laughter, and tears enough.
