How to Fall in Love
How to Fall in Love | Cecelia Ahern
She has just two weeks. Two weeks to teach him how to fall in love - with his own life. Adam Basil and Christine Rose are thrown together late one night, when Christine is crossing the Ha'penny Bridge in Dublin. Adam is there, poised, threatening to jump. Adam is desperate - but Christine makes a crazy deal with him. His 35th birthday is looming and she bets him that before then she can show him life is worth living . Despite her determination, Christine knows what a dangerous promise she's made. Against the ticking of the clock, the two of them embark on wild escapades, grand romantic gestures and some unlikely late-night outings. Slowly, Christine thinks Adam is starting to fall back in love with his life. But is that all that's happening...?

I was surfing through Flipkart, and I found this review.
Seriously, seeing this made my day😂😂😂
Now, that'll surely make the list of 'What Not to give to your Crush'

Adam: "This sounds remarkably like one of Elaine's 'How to Fall in Love' techniques." Christine: "Well, maybe I do want you to fall in love." I felt his eyes searing into me. "With life," I clarified. "I want you to love life." (Page 325) #ceceliaahern #howtofallinlove

For being a bit about suicide it was a cute book, I really need to write reviews immediately after reading the book though, because now I can't think of a thing to say except that I liked the book.

As always, a great light hearted read by Cecilia Ahern, whilst still managing to teach an important lesson of life.

I haven't listed to an audio book in a while. I'm in need of a light hearted read, and I know Cecilia Ahern is someone I can turn to for just that.

What an incredible book. I am definitely going to copy down some of the quotes. Really highlights how to feel, not be, better (well, for me anyway) and although it's cliché it is also realistic and not patronising. Given straight to my mum to read too! I'm definitely trying more Ahern in the future.

queerbookreader 1) Haven't read this 2) that being said I read the description and tbh it sounds extreeeeeemely ableist. Is the book itself as ableist as the description makes it sound? 8y
queerbookreader By ableist I mean "guy who's so mentally ill he is ready to kill himself, enter neurotypical savior who's love is all that is needed to cure man's severe mental illnesses and suicidal behavior, not massive amounts of therapy and medication" haha I see that too often 8y
sprinkledwithwords @lemonlime799 You could say that but he still is quite suicidal at the end - the end of the book is just the end of this weird ass challenge thing and we know he's still alive - just backed away slightly from the cliff. It's a love story but the love isn't what 'cures' him. 8y

Really enjoying this. So far it feels like a better version of Me Before You (unpopular opinion: I didn't like that book). I hope it ends happily... Well, a girl can hope in a world of evil authors!
