pickA light and fun read, exactly what I needed, and it definitely increased my Paris obsession. I adore the whole idea of the charming French neighborhood, especially one with such a rich history. Overall I enjoyed the book, tho sometimes she went a bit deeper into her tangents than necessary, and it could be a bit repetitive. But still a delightful read. Maintenant je veut visiter à Paris, mais je suis coincé en Californie. C‘est la vie! 3/5 ⭐️
I have a major love affair with Paris, even though I‘ve never been there and probably never will unless and until scientists invent teleportation. So instead, I live vicariously through books. 🇫🇷💗🥐

Although I am planning for a London trip next year, this popped up on my library wish list. So I grabbed it and it's a lovely written love story to her neighbors and neighborhood in Paris. It's quite nice to travel without leaving my apartment on a rainy weekend! 📚
