Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1
Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1: Night of the Living Rerun; Coyote Moon; Portal Through Time | John Vornholt, Arthur Byron Cover
6 posts | 6 read | 7 to read
As long as there have been vampires, there has been the Slayer. One girl in all the world, to find them where they gather and to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their numbers... Night of the Living Rerun~ As if real life wasn't already overflowing with vampire-staking, Buffy is now dreaming about slaying! Night after night, it's the same thing What could it mean? When Xander and Giles start acting like they have ancient alter egos, Buffy begins to realise what's going on. Can Buffy prevent the Master from escaping his supernatural prison before Sunnydale becomes history! Coyote Moon~ The seedy carnival looks like just the thing to give Buffy and her friends, Xander and Willow, a break from staking bloodsuckers. Some greasy food, a few cheap thrills - what more could a Slayer ask for? But then Buffy senses something evil behind this carnival. Could it be connected to the corpses that are turning up around Sunnydale. CanBuffyfind out what's going on in time to save her friends? Or has the Slayer become the prey? Portal of Time~ The Master, Buffy's nemesis, may be gone, but he is by no means forgotten. One of his devotees has set out to alter the past, killing off Slayers in order to change the future. With the Slayer line extinguished, there will be no Buffy. And without Buffy, no one will be able to prevent him as he resurrects The Master. Having opened a portal through time he is about to send his minions into the past to murder the most influential Slayers in history. Buffy is forced to follow them through the portal in a race against time and evil. But the problem is you can't change the past without altering the present...

#ChillingPhotoChallenge #day6 #Vampire Vampires are my favourite supernatural creature after ghosts. Spike is a brilliant example, his snark is legendary & he doesn‘t give a crap what people think. My son waited in line for 2hrs at Supernova to get me this signed photo when James Marsters was here a few years ago. I love my boy! Did you know James also narrates audiobooks? #TeamSlaughter 2points #PointsTotal-63

Hooked_on_books Oh man, that‘s a good son! I‘m envious of that picture. Such a hottie. 😍 2mo

Can‘t find the book on Litsy yet - it‘s to be released in September. But look at how cute it is! Apparently Quirk Books has this Pop Classics series of picture books including ET, Back to the Future, X-Files!

I couldn't pick just one for #yourfictionalbestfriend ! I had to stop at seven though.

Clockwise from top left-hand corner: Anne Shirley, Shadowcat, Harley Quinn, Spike, Hermione, Rogue, Mercy Thompson.

#OctPhotoChallenge Day 16. It has been awhile since I was really into any fandoms. Buffy the Vampire Slayer has always been one of my favorites. The direction that fans took Buffy in their art and stories has always been an adventure.

PS- I was stoked to find these compilations of the novels at a bookstore. I loved these stories when they first came out and my copies of the books are long gone 😊.

Eyelit Yeah! Have you read any of the comic continuations? 3y
bigdamnbookgeek @Eyelit I haven't! I wasn't a big fan of the direction the show took in the last couple seasons so at the time I wasn't interested. I think though enough time had passed I'd be willing to give them a whirl. Are they any good? 3y
Eyelit I've enjoyed them, for the most part. The comic medium has allowed them to go some weird places, story-wise and there have been a few head scratcher moments...but mostly it's just nice to have more of Buffy & the gang 😁 3y
