This was a really intense and unsettling book. It‘s so unbelievable to read about Julie‘s childhood and know about people like her. This was informative and I think that it is important to expose this horrific form of abuse and make people more aware.
1. I get that a lot.
2. We always have Christmas crackers and wear the paper crowns all through Christmas dinner.
3. Both but mostly veg.
4. Wood? With a side of aqua couch?
5. The worm from the bottom of a tequila bottle.

Y'all. This book is so sad, crazy and heart-breaking. It's also fascinating. It's a train wreck, and I can't look away.
I saw this one on someone else's Litsy and decided to try it.
Non-fiction Bargain alert!
A friend, who is a therapist, just loaned me this title. I had posted on Facebook this article https://www.buzzfeed.com/michelledean/dee-dee-wanted-her-daughter-to-be-sick-gyp... I read on longform this past year and she thought I might want to learn more. I had heard of MPB but never read much about it. Fascinating and terrifying.
