This is the 1st book (of 6) in the Huntress/FBI Thriller series and all have #Moon in the title. Since tomorrow‘s full moon is know as the Full Hunter‘s Moon, it seems especially appropriate for today‘s prompt.

#TheHunting in this series is done both by the FBI Special Agent & his team for the serial (really more vigilante) killer known as “The Huntress” & her hunting for evil & those are overtaken by it to kill.
The Hunter‘s (& Huntress) Moon is the first full moon after the harvest moon so it was just recently in the sky.🌕🤓
pickI was surprised by how much I ended up enjoying this book. The first few pages didn't impress me, but the fast paced, thrilling plot drew me in and kept me racing through the pages. My only big complaint is that the author couldn't keep her time line/corresponding ages straight. That kind of thing gets under my skin almost as much as bad grammar, but it's nothing too hard to fix. Not sure if I'll read the rest of the series yet.

Cara proves to be quite slippery in evading the authorities & Roarke, who has very conflicted feelings about her. The tagged book is the 1st & I just finished the #ARC of the 5th, out at the end of the month.🌖🌕😱📚

These 4 series leads are a vigilante killer who has a sense for 'seeing' & destroying evil, the grim reaper who works as a P.I., a woman who can see the location & last memories of the dead & a former cop who came back from the dead & sees ghosts as a paranormal detective. Pretty mysterious.😱
pickThe first in a series about a female serial killer, this book was written well, and it kept my interest. That being said, the ending seemed rushed. I prefer Chelsea Cain's Gretchen Lowell series, but I am about to start the second book in this one, Blood Moon. #firstbookofsummer
