I delayed one of yesterday‘s prompts #ringofkeys. I wanted to borrow Josh‘s jail key collection. It‘s quite large. This is just a few. #musicalnewyear @Cinfhen @vivastory

Omygoodness. This book was amazing! Such a brilliant reimagining of Holmes and Moriarty! Loved it. There were a few spots where I got annoyed, but it was because pre teen / young teens don‘t make the best decisions sometimes. But that‘s realistic! Read it. You won‘t regret it. Secret Societies, a boarding school, and a cast of remarkable characters? What more could you want?
Thank you, @HarperChilderns for these wonderful books! I can't wait to take part in the adventures of young Sherlock and Moriarty 🗝
#TBRtemptation post! This middle-school adventure explores the origins of the Holmes-Moriarty rivalry. While young students, they become roommates at the Baskerville Academy. While there, the school's heirloom Bible goes missing with cryptic notes left behind. A rousing introductory adventure for the young'uns to Sherlock & Moriarty! #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
A little literary trivia during the #worldseries: #marktwain was still alive the last time the Cubs won the World Series. Also, do I lose my #mancard for reading while watching sports? #lockandkey
Pretty good so far. Some odd choices (set in modern times, but uses traditional Sherlock-esque language) (written from Moriarty's sisters POV: mostly third person, but first person when she is in the room), but so far not too distracting
"You have no idea what girls go through! ... We hurt. We change. We ache. We grow up lightyears ahead of you cavemen!"
Okay, I'm a huge Sherlock fan so going into this I had high expectations. Well, expectations met and exceeded! Greatly enjoyed the reimagining of how Sherlock meets Moriarty. And written by Ridley Pearson, writer of the Kingdom Keepers, who could ask for more. Looking forward to the next in this trilogy!
"Our heritage, our history is everything, James. It shapes who and what we are. What we are to become. Acceptance is a hurdle hard to fly over gracefully. Most of us prefer to smash into the hurdles several times before allowing ourselves the strength of will to carry us over.
Actually liking this retelling of the origins of Sherlock and Moriarty
"I have learned to accept that greatness comes in all forms. Great evil is as rarely accomplished as is great heroism."
