Not that I‘m superstitious or anything...😱
As a R.L. Stine fan, I was super excited to read this book. I liked it, it was a good story and had a lot of promise. However I had two problems with it, first the ending felt super rushed, I wanted a bit more explanation. The other issue was I kept waiting for that amazing twist that I love in his other books, and while there was a twist it just didn't have that WOW factor I really wanted. I would give it 4 stars.
#FT13giveaway @TheReadingMermaid My favourite genres are mystery/thriller, fantasy and horror. Thanks for the giveaway chance! 😊
I'd read the Goosebumps books as a kid so I figured I'd give this a try. It wasn't bad. A quick, easy read with some decent characters. Though I felt Sara was a pretty terrible friend most the time. Overall it wasn't a bad story, but I felt there were some holes and things that needed more detail. Made for a decent beach read though.
Reading Superstitious on my beach vacay, and we've spotted some kitties. Saw 4 adults off our balcony last night and then tonight we discovered the litter of kittens! Look at the babies ❤️❤️🐱
My local library was having a used book sale and these were the titles I picked up. I didn't know R.L. Stine had written an adult novel but as a fan of Goosebumps as a kid I knew I had to give it a try. They were all $1 each and I was so surprised to stumble upon A Man Called Ove but knew I had to grab it given how everyone has raved about it
