Sequel to Time and Again—such a fun story! Si Morley‘s self-hypnosis and time travel skills are needed again, even though he‘s happily ensconced in the late 1880s of New York with a wife and son...But 1974 is calling!

Really more in-between pick and so-so. The sequel *From Time to Time* wasn‘t as compelling as *Time and Again*. This time around, the same main character time-travels to 1912 New York City.

I‘m still staying on the lookout for the time travel books some of you recommended a while back 👍😊!

jillrhudy Agreed! Adored “Time and Again“ but the sequel notsomuch. 5y
ValerieAndBooks @jillrhudy Yes. I wonder if it would have been a stronger book if it had been published sooner after the original -- as it was, they were out about 20 years apart. 5y

That term “Time patriots “. Makes me think of certain politicians who want to bring us back to “better times”. 🤔

Ironically I‘m starting this sequel to *Time and Again* because my iPad is charging and I can‘t get back to my current ebook (*Americanah* by Adichie) yet.

My January Reads -plus 4 books that were either loans or library and have been returned. Not a bad start, considering. Favorites were Home Front & Prayers for Sale. Phoebe was hilarious, thanks to @NerdyRev for that one (I'm sorry it took so long for me to read it!). #bestofjanuary

NerdyRev Glad you enjoyed it! 7y
